Sonic 2: Final Boss

Excellent!
I agree with WingDairu, your self-criticism is really too much. This was an excellent mix, keep it up.

Really basic
There's nothing to it. It could use some... entertainment value.

Game is terrible
Instructions were never clear. I hardly ever knew what to do.
Shooting things dead on often would result in misses.
Failure penalty was too harsh.
Boring and overdone.
That is all.

Excellent start.
I play this game rather often, and have since I saw it on the front page. I like all the additions you've made to it and it's getting to be awesome. I think I'd be beating a dead horse if I mentioned all the bugs (the only reason it isn't getting a 10, but hell, this is beta, that's what it's for).
-Says I have more ships than I actually have
-Difficult to select individual stars
-Difficult to deselect individual stars
I think you should add a way to select all of a certain type of stars. Ctrl + N = All naval stars. Ctrl + E = All economic stars. Also, I've read some reviews saying to change the hotkeys but I think they're excellent the way they are, but then again, I've memorized every key on the keyboard, so I don't have to look on the board for each key as most people do.
Another review I've read said that economy stars don't work. He's wrong. However it seems like economy stars give a random amount of economy. I usually start off by taking 2 stars, making 2 of them into Naval and 1 into an economic, and after a few seconds, my economy seems maxed at 26. Then I'll get another and my economy will go to somewhere around 30. This likely has to do with the size of the star, but whatever.
Anyway, I'm greatly looking forward to the final product. Multiplayer would be intense. A story mode would be fun. For some reason this game reminds me of something out of Orson Scott Card.
Orson Scott Card! I always fancied myself as a bit of an Ender, I think this game comes a little from my subconcious, I loved his books.
The disappearing fleet bug. I'm still working on it, I just never ever see it myself. Ever. It's a bitch to find. ARGG.
Ctrl+N hotkeys to select ALL of a startype is a brilliant idea. It's going in right now. (why didnt I think of that damnit)
You can set groups, like you can select a few stars and hit Ctrl-1, then from now on if you hit '1' you select those stars again, does anyone use that?
You can select and unselect individual stars with the shift key + mouse too.
Lots of people are finding the controls tricky, but I just can't figure out exactly why. I've been playing it too long now.
Thanks for the Ctrl-N idea!
